  • 1.  Extend the size in /data partition with unallocated space

    Posted 03-11-2020 07:53

    Hello,

    Environment:
    VmWare Virtual Applience
    Product: DAM
    Version: 13.5

I have 500Gb HDD (only one Disk added to VM). After deploy GW i have 340Gb free space no unallocated.
What is the best way to extend /data partition from unallocated space?

    Hi Vadim,

    You can use the following guide;

    https://www.miarec.com/doc/administration-guide/doc1014

Note: Before applying it on the production environment, it is safer to test it on lab environment firstly.

Hello, Have you tried the recommended procedure from Imperva?

    1. Add new disk to the virtual machine
    2. go to the CLI, as root
    3. Run the following commands:
      # impctl server stop
      # impctl platform storage allocate-new-vdisks
      # impctl server start

Picture attached is from MX, but for GW works the same.
