  • 1.  API OS connection testing with default credentials

    Is there a way to test OS connections using default credentials through the API?

    Using the instructions on the v13.5 API Reference Manual, the OS connection test does not utilize default credentials, but specific credentials.

    @Brandon Zeitlin I see this question, and I'm still looking for a decent answer for you.

    @Brandon Zeitlin, I want to make sure I followed up on this. I was told that a test os connection with api is not possible. One thing I would recommend, is to create a Feature request / Idea on our Customer Feedback platform. You can find that here. You will need your credentials four the portal.

    @Christopher Detzel,

    I tagged the wrong product and that might be causing some confusion.

    I am referring to the DAS product, which does allow to test OS connections through the API, but it uses specific connections, not the default credentials form you can use to apply several database servers. We can at this point test OS connections, just not using the default credentials.
