I'm not sure if this has been resolved already, but I checked in with support on this one and they advised that you raise a support ticket as there are so many factors that may be causing this behaviour.

Subject: Incident ID to log filter.
Feel silly asking this but I can not find any documentation on the doc portal. When given just the incident ID from the user how to you look up the log on the MX. When entered in the Session ID or Event ID nothing show in both alerts and violation logs.
