H Ivan,
How many GWs are there? If there is a single GW, Maybe the IP address mentioned could be taken by another device. But if there are multiple GWs and just that one failed to connect to MX, that situation invalidates my theory.
I faced issue like this and it's very hard to detect. When IP is taken by multiple devices, each device takes the IP irregularly and this can trick you easily. Also, this can explain SSH login fail. You can try to change MX's management IP address and then try to reregister the GW.
I'm aware that it's a very unlikely situation but believe me, it's worth to check it :)
Regards.

Subject: Error Register MX
Hi community,
My client has an MX and a GW in version 14.2, last week we updated these devices, before they were in version 13.5.0_20, the GW has 4 mssql agents and 3 as400 agents registered.Since Friday the GW presented a disconnection alarm in the GUI, we tried to enter the gw through SSH but it did not allow us to connect, therefore, we connected through the console port and validated the state of the gw and it is ok , it appears registered and running but in the gui it appears disconnected, we also try the telnet test from the GW to the MX through port 8083 and it is ok, then we try to force the GW registration to see if it was connected but when running the command it responds with the following error:
Additionally, we restart the MX but I do not change anything, also the GW and it continues up but continues to appear disconnected. Can anybody help me?
Thanks
