  • 1.  Log Files for Solaris, Linux and HPUX

    Good Morning,
Imperva installation default installation is /opt/imperva. I understand that the binaries sit under the directory. But the logs files should not sit there in my opinion. I want to leave the default /opt/imperva, but I don't want the logs to be stored there. Can I have the logs moved to another area (Ex. /var/logs) instead of leaving them under /opt/imperva?

    Hi Tyrone,

Yes, the file and log location may be changed in the agent advance settings or set during the install.
Change log settings after agent install: https://www.imperva.com/sign_in.asp?retURL=/articles/Procedure/How-to-change-the-default-directory-for-agent-logs-and-data-queue-files

    Script install: https://docs.imperva.com/bundle/v14.1-administration-guide/page/7400.htm
