    Posted 05-07-2020 00:13
The directory structure for Imperva (/opt/imperva/ragent) keeps disappearing on our Solaris servers The kernel version for Solaris 11.4.20.4.0 and the Imperva version is Version: 14.1.0.20.5 Release: 578723. Sometimes that whole directory just disappears from the server and I will have to reinstall imperva. Has anybody seen this before? I don't know what the issue is.

This is not normal behavior. I would look in the audit file to see what is deleting the directory. If the audit is not enabled, enable it and monitor.

@Tyrone Billups, in addition to what @Scott Morgan said, @Pal Balint mentioned to me that you might try upgrading your agent. The one you have might be an older version. He said: First, you should run the which_agent_package.sh on that Solaris node that tells the latest version of Agent that's supported by the OS.

    I hope this helps.

Are the servers part of a Solaris cluster, if so is it possible that one global zone on a physical server in the cluster does not have Imperva installed?

Is /opt/imperva/ragent on a separate filesystem, and the mount point is having issues?
