    Posted 05-24-2021 08:09
    Hi,

does anyone has working connection to Windows following this steps https://docs.imperva.com/bundle/v14.4-database-activity-monitoring-user-guide/page/474.htm ? What needs to be done on Windows side and what needs to be entered on SecureSphare to work?

    Regards, Rok

    Hi Rok,

I'm not sure I follow the question?

SecureSphere must have credentials in order to connect to the DB. This is defined under the default credentials. Ideally the account specified will have access to all DBs that need to be protected.

Configuring a Direct Access Information Default Connection
         https://docs.imperva.com/bundle/v14.4-database-activity-monitoring-user-guide/page/472.htm

Make sure to use the "test credentials" link to ensure the credentials are working as expected.

The section which you have linked:

Configuring Override Credentials for a Specific Database
         https://docs.imperva.com/bundle/v14.4-database-activity-monitoring-user-guide/page/474.htm

Is used in the case that you have a DB or DBs that must use an account other than the default specified via "Configuring a Direct Access Information Default Connection"

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I am asking how to connect to Windows not to DB. This topic is for risk management and vulnerability on the OS level.
