Welcome to March's #TipTuesday! In case you missed last month's Tip Tuesday, it's all about showing off the functionality the Imperva Community platform has to offer that you might not yet know about. Now, let's use this month's Tip Tuesday to review @Mentions.
Why? Just like on Twitter and Facebook, @mentioning is a great way to grab someone's attention!
As you participate in various discussions with other users, you may come across a topic you are unfamiliar with but know an expert on the topic who might be able to help – this is a great opportunity to leverage this feature.
Users you @mention will receive an email that they've been mentioned with a quick link right to the post.
How? When posting a question or reply, simply type @ and then begin typing the name of whoever you'd like. The Community platform will provide a dropdown list of potential users matching your query for you to select from.
Now it's your turn – take a look at some of the unanswered questions and @mention an expert on the topic who may be able to assist with your fellow product user's question!
