    Hi All,

Any idea what is the idle Transaction Per Seconds (TPS) for WAF Appliances?

    For Appliances X2510 and X4510.

    Hi Bukit,
The WAF GW does not send traffic in an idle state. Meaning if there is no client initiated traffic the WAF GW will not send traffic.

    What are you seeing?

    Thank you,
    Scott

    Hi Morgan,
What I am looking is like the number of transaction per seconds for the gateway.
eg. How many connection or hits are allow if the throughput is 500mbps.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Hi Michael,

I apologize for reading your signature incorrectly. The mode: bridge, TRP, KRP, and traffic type: http, https (RSA) or https(ECDHE), affects the TPS. For the X2510/X4510 you should see 2700 or better TPS (13.6+ firmware). For more specific numbers, please, open a support case. The configuration (version, mode, traffic type) is a dependant factor on performance.

HTTP transactions consist of request and response messages

A generic transaction: Connect > Request > Response > Close between the client and server
