  • 1.  DAM | Is it possible to reduce the hard drive capacity on Imperva DAM gateway?

    Posted 01-07-2025 21:09

    Hi everyone,

Can I lower the minimum hard disk of Imperva Gateway (V6500). I see the datasheet says 250GB. I don't know what it is used to store with this capacity???.

    Please help me

If you need only one audit policy for one database that performs only a few SQL transactions daily, you can decrease storage - but it is not recommended and supported by support.

From my experience, you should think about increasing HDD space.

    Hi Karol

    Thanks for your response

When I deployed a new Imperva DAM. I found out that if I Import OVF file and select VM150 model, it will be assigned 1 disk by default for this virtual machine. However with V6500 model, it is assigned 2 disks. Does anyone know why, and what each disk is used for? When I deployed a new Imperva DAM.
