  • 1.  NFS Mounting issue

    Posted 12-05-2024 08:52

    Hi All,

I successfully executed the command to mount the NFS server on Imperva MX, but the mounted NFS shared directory is not visible in the system.

Additionally, in the NFS action set, the "Test Connection" shows a failure with the following error:

Exception while attempting to upload file to mounted file system: Error: cp: Failed to access '/mnt/backup/bglr_imperva_mxbackup/bglr_imperva_mxbackup': permission denied

After executing the mount command, the permissions on the /mnt/backup directory in MX have changed. When trying to access the directory, I receive the following error:

    -bash: cd: /mnt/backup: permission denied

    Hi,

Yes, I granted permission to /mnt/backup using the command chown mxserver /mnt/backup. After that, I executed the mount command.

However, after executing the mount command, I am unable to access /mnt/backup using cd /mnt/backup as it gives a "permission denied" error.
