Subject: Support for Microsoft ActiveSync for an email FQDN onboarded to CWAF
Hi, I have one FQDN named "mail.example.com" onboarded to the CWAF. The backend IP of the site runs an on-premise hosted exchange server. The client and server uses Microsoft ActiveSync to carry out the synchronization processors. According to Microsoft the active sync protocol is based on HTTP and XML. The customer only has an A record configured in their DNS for this domain which points to the backend exchange server IP and states that the communication is HTTP based.
Can I know if ActiveSync is supported through the CWAF based on the above information? If you have any resources on this topic please share it as it will be highly useful.
