    Posted 02-20-2023 02:17

    Hi Everyone,

My name is Raymond and i am assigned to a DAM project that requires to setup MXHA.

Therefore, i would like to understand the architecture of MXHA how it works after installed MXHA into both MXs -> impctl server ha install. I hope someone in this community can enlighten me on understanding the architecture of MXHA how it works after installed MXHA into both MXs -> impctl server ha install.

Looking forward to hear this soon. =)

    Hi,

I would recommend you start at the official docs here: https://docs.imperva.com/bundle/v14.10-dam-administration-guide/page/8578.htm

It goes quite in depth about HA , its requirement and setup.

    Hope you find this usefull.

    Hi Raymond,

If I may give you good advice: do not install MX-HA. Never.
MX-HA it is Oracle Data Guard technology.

MX-HA doesn't work with huge amount of collecting of audit logs. Better send logs to JSonar (DSF) or SIEM/SPLUNK.
Try to use native vmware snapshots or native MX full export system.
