  • 1.  Explanation on Agent sniffing mode on Imperva Gateway

    Hi Imperva Communities,

    There is a new deployment mode called 'Agent Sniffing Mode' that became the only deployment available in version 14.8 and above. I have searched on the DAM Administration Guide, and cannot find any comprehensive explanation for this, what is this topology differs from previous available topology (sniffing and bridge) that now became deprecated.  Does anyone have a comprehensive explanation For this?

    Hi ,

    The Imperva DAM does not support "Collection of audit events using log collectors", "GW Bridge interface", "GW Sniffing interface" after version 14.8,
    and can only use Agent to receive data, so the deployment mode "Agent Sniffing mode" is introduced.
