Problem with the gateway.... Very similar problem but a different solution.
You have several solutions, but every to do in the server room:
1. You can reimage the gateway -> download the same version from FTP, and during the first configuration, you have to select option -> to replace the gateway. You have to use the same name, the same IP, and the same user "secure" password as on MX.
The "secure" password you can check on MX using it:
password_decode $(grep "name=\"secure\"" /opt/SecureSphere/etc/bootstrap.xml|cut -d\" -f4)2. You can use the console cable and try to log in on root. You can try to log in a lot of times because the root account won't lock. Maybe you wrote the root password in keypass or somewhere else.
3. You can use this ->
https://docs.imperva.com/howto/d4ff0a18So, as you can see, you have only three ways to resolve your problem.
I think the first option is the fastest.

My problem is in the gateway. The guy who was administering the WAF has left and has not passed me the cli admin password of gateway. Is that the only way I can recover it is to reboot it?
Thank you!

Hi,
I forget my MX CLI admin password, and I only have this account.
Is there any solution to change the password?
Thanks
