  • 1.  Mongo DB agent does not discover any data interfaces

    Posted 20 days ago

    Hello,

We have just installed a Mongo DB agent and selected the default server group and the default service (mongodb service type) but the agent is not discovering any data interfaces. In the 'Service types' column appears as 'none'. Any of you had to deal with this issue?

    Thank you so much,

    Pedro

The Remote Agent does not automatically discover data interfaces for all OS/DB/interface type combinations, so in some cases you will have to manually configure the interfaces.

You can find full list of supported OS/DB combinations for interface auto-discovery  in Imperva Documentation portal.

For example for DAM v.14.15 the list is here:

    https://docs.imperva.com/bundle/v14.15-dam-administration-guide/page/7350.htm

    Hi Marat,

Thank you for your response. We understand that sometimes the data interfaces are not discovered automatically but if we try to add them manually, we are not able to find the MongoDB service type:

What should we do in this case?

    Thank you in advance.

It could be a bunch of reasons for why you do not see MongoDB service type. I would suggest to address this issue in the case to On-Prem Support to look into the details of this issue and find out the reason of what you are observing.
