  • 1.  Redirect from http to https in WAF On Premise

    I have a web page that was initially in WAF Cloud and when clients entered with http://www.mydomain.net it always redirected to https://www.mydomain.com
     
    Now I no longer use the WAF Cloud service, I currently use WAF On Premise and when clients log in with http://www.mydomain.net they are no longer redirected to https.
     
    What configuration could I do there in WAF On Premise to make it redirect from http to https?

    Hi Jose,

    With Imperva CWAF, this could be accomplished with the toggle of a switch.

    With Imperva WAF-GW, it requires a few more steps.

    Jose,

    As @Jaapvandenberg mentioned, you need additional config.

    But please be aware that you need to use a reverse proxy mode.
    On top of that you will also need to provide your own valid certificates on the GW for the public facing side of the config.

    If you are on bridge mode, you will need to implement this on the LB or the server itself.
