Webinar: Cloud WAF Reports and a Tool that Simplifies the Usage of the Reputation Intelligence Service

By Christopher Detzel posted 07-09-2020 16:17

Doron Tzur takes us through an in-depth look at Imperva’s Cloud WAF GitHub tools, account-level-dashboard and site-protection-viewer, which provide the
ability to understand in one click and one glance the current protection stature and usage in account level.

Additionally he will walk us through another GitHub
tool, multi-ip-rep-retriever, that enhances our Reputation Intelligence service by providing a simplified way of to look up
multiple IP addresses instead of one at a time.

New release for the site-protection-viewer tool:
In v2.3 You can now define which ports should be scanned in the origin-server check. Default values are (http 80, http 8080, https 443, https 8443). You can remove irrelevant ports. And if websites use non-standard ports you can add them.

In the webinar, I was asked how to the site-protection-viewer "decides" that the site is fully-configured.

It does so by getting the value from the Get site status API. If the value is 'fully-configured' it means it is fully configured. Please look at the info in provided link in order to see what are the other values can be.
