CONCURRENT CONNECTION ON SECURESPHERE X6520 & HOW TO GAUGE THE EXISTING CONC SESSIONS?

  • 1.  CONCURRENT CONNECTION ON SECURESPHERE X6520 & HOW TO GAUGE THE EXISTING CONC SESSIONS?

Our customer is using 01 x X6520 WAF appliance and it seems that their concurrent connections have reached the limit (even though the CPU usage is still low [70%]).

Can we know what is the concurrent connection limit on X6520 and how we can gauge this parameter on their production environment?

    Thanks team

    Hi Nguyen,

    Hope you're well! πŸ‘‹

I spotted your forum post and wanted to thank you for reaching out. Your insights are super helpful for us! 😊

Let's keep it simple and dive right in:

Alert History: Have you encountered any session limit alerts before? If so, sharing the details would be a big help.

Environment Specifics: Because every setup is unique, nailing down a specific concurrent session limit isn't one-size-fits-all. Here are some things that can make a difference:

    • HTTP request sizes
    • SSL vs. non-SSL traffic
    • Different deployment setups

If you could shed some light on these points, it'd really help us get the bigger picture and provide the best assistance tailored to you.

Thanks once again for your post.
