  • 1.  DAM - massively ignore Discovered Data Interfaces

    Posted 10-02-2023 10:20

    Hi all,

When we install an agent on database host (in this example, on an Oracle Exadata node), some interfaces discovered (listed on "Discovered Data Interfaces" section at Data Interfaces' agent tab ) that we understand no need to monitor (such as Backup interfaces), and we need to check "Ignore" box manually to exclude this monitoring.

Do you know if there is some way to do it massively? Using api (/conf/agents/agent_hostname/dataInterfaces), we can see the interface information, but there is little information available (not even the IP appears), only ID/service/port/type/ignore...

    Regards

    Hi @Uiliam de Mello,

Were you able to find a solution for this? If not, I can look into it for you.

There may be some useful information in this session: *Webinar* The Importance of Discovery and Classification for Successful DAM Deployment
