  • 1.  Direct Database connection. Discovery & Classification Databases SCAN for 400+ dbs

    We are discovering PII data for about 400+ databases. We need to do scan discovery for all MS SQL and Oracle databases. There are about 400+ databases and we need to configure direct database connection for all databases.

    The manual direct database connection configuration for all 400+ databases will take more time and it will hit our timeline. Is there an approach where we import all database credentials for Direct database connection from Site Tree?

    1. Any approach we can upload the list from backend direct databases
    2. Any approach we can import csv list of credential from site tree GUI

    There is a section in the dam_api_reference_guide that has API calls to manage DB connections.

    You may find a program at https://github.com/imperva that would work to do the api calls.

    I've used Postman for api testing - https://www.postman.com/
