  • 1.  Changing the host IP

    Hello,

    My webapp is moving to a new platform (origin server IP changes). What are my options? can I redirect or change the origin server IP from the CWAF itself? or should I publish the server and onboard it as a new webapp to the WAF? Please notice that the domain name does not change just the server IP. What will be the best practice in this scenario?

    Hi Ravindu,

    The best practice is to update the Origin server within Imperva CWAF.

    The Origin server can be changed/updated under Website Settings > Origin Servers
