    On-Prem WAF protects against HTTP/HTTPS attacks. CVE-2023-34048 is referring to vCenter Server vulnerability in the implementation of the DCERPC protocol. This is not HTTP or HTTPS attack, therefore  seems out of scope of On-Prem WAF protection.
