Hi Community,

Hope you guys are doing well.

Could you please tell me how to check whether the gateway is running in sniffing mode or in Bridge mode.
I have tried running command "impctl gateway show" as stated in https://support.imperva.com/s/article-items?articleId=e21f3097
But i did not found the desired output.

Is there any other method through which i can check?

Hello Ganesh,

As per my knowledge there are two ways how you can look for gateway mode:

- CLI
- Management Interface

CASE 1 - CLI

As I know via CLI are two methods:

Method 1:  impctl gateway show

The output in my lab as below:



Another way how you can check the gateway via cli is by following the steps below on the Method 2:

>> impcfg
>> Manage SecureSphere Gateway

In this case the WAF One Box is in Bridge IMPHVA Mode:

If you want to change the mode of the Gateway:

>> Manage SecureSphere Gateway
>> Change Operation Mode

CASE 2 - Management Interface

You can find on the following path:

Main > Setup > Gateway
