  • 1.  Imperva Agent log showing error

    Hi,

    My agent is showing in my dam console "Error messages: DB Discovery failure. ; Process stopped. Maximum process terminations exceeded. ; DB discovery failure due to disk space threshold exceeded."

    Issue is causing one of my linux server /opt exceeding 95% usage due to /opt/imperva folder growing in size.

    Any idea on how to fix this issue? What is safe to purge in imperva folder? and what command to do this in the DB server?

    You may first check the allocated memory utilization on OS level, if memory is fine, then check the below setting under Advance Config "

    <system-capping-max-restarts>10</system-capping-max-restarts>" if Max restart are more than 10 then no need to make any changes else you may try to add this parameter in Advance config and restart the agent and monitor it for couple of days.
