    Hello Everyone,

    Greetings for the day,

    I have an Alert coming in SOM and as well as in MX
    "Management Server cannot get notifications from the Imperva Central Software Repository"



    I have enabled external https and also configured proxy in the MX. The ADC updates have happening on regular basis, 
    But i am unable to get rid of the alert.

    A ticket was raised with support team and its been close to a week and there has been no reply.

    This is commented in an on going audit,

    can anyone guide me to close this alert in SOM and MX?

    After migrating to Thales, I think the portal URL got changed. For the software update, there is an ongoing issue with Thales for Imperva. Once the issue is fixed from Thales team, then you need to work with the networking team to open the firewall to the new URL. You can disable  this alert by going to the path below 

    Monitor -> monitor system-> configuration -> search for "Management Server cannot get notifications from the Imperva Central Software Repository" disable the trigger alarm

    The MX is integrated with SOM, and I have disabled in SOM, but still facing same issue

    Hi Bharath,

    After following the documentation (https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/v14.19-dam-administration-guide/page/6874.htm, https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/v14.19-dam-management-server-manager-user-guide/page/6793.htm and https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/z-kb-articles-knowledgebase-support/page/290196586.html), did you enable settings like Ignore HTTP Certificate, HTTP Proxy Configuration, etc.? Did you provide IP address of the Proxy Server or its Hostname along with Port number? If Hostname, then did you add DNS entries (https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/v14.19-dam-administration-guide/page/7293.htm and https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/z-kb-articles-knowledgebase-support/page/290558587.html)?

    Also, there is no notification from Thales or Imperva that there is any change in the ADC URL except the separation of contents for DAM and WAF.

    Yes, All the above steps are followed, External http settings, DNS etc, The ADC are getting updated automatically, the configuration is working, but this error dont why still persists.

    as mentioned earlier . the software update issue is with vendor  as the portal is migrated to thales and the  imperva  team is still working on the issue .

    Hi Bharath,

    We did not notice any such error or alarm on MX or SOM GUI. Did you try to disable alarm (https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/v14.19-dam-management-server-manager-user-guide/page/62697.htm and https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/v14.19-dam-user-guide/page/62697.htm) on MX as well? Or did you to try to disable "Working in online mode" (https://docs-cybersec.thalesgroup.com/bundle/v14.19-dam-administration-guide/page/66786.htm)?
