    Hi,

    Im thinking if there are ways to configure this 2FA from an on-prem MX device.

    Are there available options from the webui or cli of the MX to do this? What happens on the password expiration duration of that user local to the MX? 

    Or if this is even recommended

    Hi Angfe, you will integrate LDAP or radius authentication for GUI, and only Radius via Cli

    If the password expiration occurred you need to change it and saved the new password, but the recommendation is for each administrator has a user with privileges to manage the device, the account will be local or external
