Subject: root directory keeps getting full
Hi, when this happens on our MX the most common cause is the catalina.out log has gotten too large. This is created by the Tomcat webserver an just keeps growing indefinitely. When it gets to about 11GB in size, we get an alert that storage is low. It's located at /opt/SecureServer/server/SecureSphere/jakarta-tomcat-secsph/logs/catalina.out. You must stop the webserver before removing the file or it will not free up the space. Or use the 'truncate' command to prune it (eg truncate -s 0 catalina.out) and you won't have to stop the webserver. You can back up the file externally if you think you might need to troubleshoot.

Hi Folks,
I need your help.
The root (/) directory of the MX deployed keeps getting full. I always have to keep deleting some files whenever this happens almost every week. Is there a reason this keeps happening? I have attached a screenshot of the output of "df -h"
