No I haven't tried to re-register the GW after start up.
Mainly because I'm not sure how I would go about doing this in an automated way.

We are currently using the on-premise WAF (SecureSphere) version 14.6 from the AWS Marketplace.
I was trying to investigate if the AWS scaling group warm pools would work with the gateways, but I have found that if I stop a gateway instance and then start it again it never re-connects to the MX again. It just permanently remains in a "disconnected" state in the MX.
Anybody know why this would be?
