  • 1.  Unable to Include Column Name Field in PI Data Scan Report

    Posted 20 days ago

I am able to successfully perform a PI Data Scan in Imperva, and the scan results correctly identify the database name, table name, and column names. However, while generating the PI Data Scan report, I am unable to find or add the column name field in the report configuration. As a result, the generated report does not display column-level information.

I kindly request your guidance on any available settings, report templates, or recommended methods to include column names in the PI Data Scan report. Column-level visibility is essential for our data classification and compliance requirements.

When you create the reports for classification scans, there are 3 types you can use. You may have selected "DB Data Classification Table Level Detailed" which does not give the column option as a field. Try creating a new report under Discovery > DB Data Classification > DB Data Classification Column Level Detailed. This type of report will give an option for "Column Name" in the Tabular tab.
